Youth Earning Real Industry Experience

A highlight of 2025 has been watching our students transition into paid work through our extended partner network. Two of our 25Crew Events students, Chloe and Rae completed training through Screen Collective’s Cadetship, Pluggas Crew School and NextGen Filmmakers, broadening their professional experience.

Seventeen-year-old Chloe has been employed by fxphd, an international software education platform based in Noosa, which provides project support services for Screen Collective. Fifteen-year-old Rae has already secured gig work with Screen Collective and QuEvents.

Gracyn, our Cert III Entrepreneurship and New Business student is developing a creative workshop series and has co-delivered three workshops, the latest through the Sunshine Coast Council Libraries programs.

Long-term contributor Lincoln Knight, who has been with STUFFit since 2023, now works across multiple creative organisations including QuEvents, Peregian Digital Hub, Aesop Media, and others. His journey from student to professional is a clear example of what can happen when young people are seen working professionally in real environments; employers take notice.
